Citroen doesn't seem to be able to stop making its old models. The public won’t allow it to. Just as the Xsara Picasso lives on to sell alongside the C4 Picasso, so too will the original Berlingo Multispace enjoy an afterlife, its production lines moved from Vigo to another factory.
Good: Excellent Multi Activity Family Vehicle based on C4/308 floorpan so with fine, car-like handling. Comfortable, hugely versatile and very useful.
Bad: Not for car snobs.

There are stowage pockets everywhere, a drawer under the driver’s seat, trapdoors in the rear floor and nets in the coving of the ceiling. The rear seats flop and fold 60:40, leaving a completely flat floor for shifting washing machines, fridges, go-karts, bicycles. Read on to get more about the car in the market in Wolverhampton.

In theory it’s a new AX. Small, light, simple, practical, economical and fun. But car makers can’t make a car like that any more. Laws don’t let them. So underneath its cute little body the C2 has had to become a lot more sophisticated.
Good: Clever design for the boot floor. Four-star crash test rating. Good balance of ride comfort and roadholding.
Bad: Adults will find the rear seats cramped. Flimsy trim. Mechanical problems, including Sensodrive.

Small car buyers are being spoiled for choice. First we had the pretty Peugeot 206. Then the Toyota Yaris, which hugely raised our expectations. Then the Skoda Fabia. And, this year, all in a rush, the Honda Jazz, the new Ford Fiesta, the new VW Polo and now the Citröen C3 in Wolverhampton.

The steering wheel adjusts in and out and up and down and never obscures the Citroen C4-like line-of-sight digital speedometer. Anyone from 4' 10" to 6' 7" can easily get comfortable.
If you were travelling, say to the South of France or Spain, you’d take the whole car including the roof rails and use the extra boot well stowage space for luggage. Get there, strip the car down to its basics, and you’ll have the beach buggy fun car you want in Wolverhampton.
Good: Quirky looks and the versatility to swap from coupe to cabrio, full convertible or pick-up. Roomy for four adults. Four-star crash test rating.
Bad: Many reports of leaks and build quality problems. You'll have to put up with rattles.

'Buyers of medium size motors never had it better. A much more solid new Golf; a dramatic new Astra; a better built, more refined new Focus. And now, stepping smartly from the bottom of the class to the top, the stunning new Citroen C4 in Wolverhampton.
It’s a medium size 5-door, 5-seat hatchback with a 110PS 1.6 litre diesel engine and a six-speed transmission with an electronically controlled electric clutch. (You can drive it on an automatic licence.)

The standard C4 range speed limiter is a useful feature, enabling you to programme in 30mph, then if you try to go faster your right foot feels like it’s pressing on a jelly. The slight danger of this is understeer on wet leaves on a tight bend. Read on to get more about the vehicle on the market in Wolverhampton.

For passengers in Wolverhampton, the car feels even more roomy, bright and airy than the already spacious saloon. There's bags of rear legroom and a virtually flat floor, so the centre rear passenger doesn't draw a short straw. And the rear doors open wide with low sills, greatly aiding entry for the elderly.
The C5 estate always had eye appeal. But the hatchback looked like two entirely different cars that had been cut and shut together. Citroen was so self-conscious of this it even delayed the C5 launch for some last-minute nip and tuckery which merely made the best of a bad job while the stylists at Velizy went to work on a full facelift.
This is a very privileged car. Because after the C6 it’s the first to get PSA/Ford’s fantastic 2.2 twin-turbo 173PS diesel engine coupled up to the Aisin Warner 6-speed automatic transmission.
It can surprise and delight in practicality as well. The concave rear window allows the lid of the huge boot to open much wider than usual (it's a saloon, not a hatchback like the old C5).
Good: Great looks, comfort, roadholding and handling. Station wagon the best looker. HDI V6 208 is very quick.
Bad: Very little genuine steering 'feel'.

At last we have some distinctive shapes among upper-medium family cars. The 'top hatted' VW Passat started the trend, the handsome, clean-cut new Ford Mondeo followed, hotly pursued by the stylish, elegant Renault Laguna II. Now, to replace the Xantia, we have the Citröen C5.
It’s actually more like a modern DS or an SM than a CX or an XM. You don’t turn into a corner as you would in a BMW. Instead you turn the wheel and wait a fraction of a second while the car responds.
Good: It looks and drives like a big Citroen should – idiomatic, smooth and very hushed. Plenty of high-tech gadgets. Excellent crash safety ratings.
Bad: German rivals hold their value better.

These days it’s not enough for a car to be an MPV or ‘people mover’. It’s got to be a good car as well. So, acknowledging that mum and the kids want all the space and goodies of an MPV, but also that dad wants something he can get a bit of pleasure out of driving, PSA has come up with the Citroen C8.
Good: Seating for up to eight in a practical, versatile cabin. Plenty of safety and comfort features. Five-star crash rating from 2003. Easy to drive.
Bad: Limited headroom in rows two and three. Some serious build quality problems reported.
